I was wondering whether this was a replacement for the revscene meet since i havent seen anything on their site about a meet this year. Im thinking about going to this, Ben wanna cruise down at the same time? Are the skyline guys going as well? That was fun last year

This is separate from Revscene.. there will still be a revscene meet.

Skyline guys should be going.. i will see what the plan is for a pre-meet.

my Skyline wont be on the road yet so i will just be in the challenger

So Pre-meet at the Chevron on 104th. (Gilford Area)
    meet 9am. Sunday. March 16th

By the sounds of it a skyline went in a ditch and a supra skidded off the road, and there were a couple tools doing burnouts at this event. Hopefully revscene won't be as bad.

I can't even tell what type of car that last one is, I bet there will be a bit more policing around revscene.

All that at one meet!? Crazy...

Like Impul said, kind of annoying that stupid stuff like this puts a lot more heat on the rest of us.

Bahaha damn idiots. People like that ruin it for everyone else. This is generally why I avoid car meets and just cruise with friends.

Ben be glad you didnt go, this was one of the worst meets I've been to, not very well planned. I mostly went to meet another guy who just imported a mark 2, I'm freaking lonely over here so I gotta try and make friends haha.

There were a lot of asshats doing burnouts and stuff so I parked like 2 lots away from anyone just so my car doesnt get damaged. I dont't get it, its wet ground, burnouts are not impressive....pretty sure you could get one started on a ride on lawn mower.

There were too any immature kids showing off. Worst part was that they were doing burnouts in the actual lot where people and kids were walking, it was just stupid and a total waste of time. First and last West Coast Car Events meet I go to. It not only makes us all look like douchebags but potentially ruins that location for future meets.

I read the skyline had 710whp and he spun out and ended up in a ditch, I didnt see it though. And the other flipped one, the story according to witnesses was he was driving on the onramp and the rim split into two, he lost control and flipped into one of those breakable poles. Wasnt really doing anything stupid, just bad luck I guess. Again this is what I read on the fb pg before they closed it haha. Revscene will probably have a sizeable police presence after this ridiculousness!

I totally forgot about this. I guess I could have gone, but maybe it's good I didn't. I initially laughed at the Skyline, but I didn't some digging and I feel gutted for the guy. Apparently 710whp. The good news is that he's ok.

wow. eventful meet! What is that last car, and how did it happen? Do you know T? Ben, that didn't seem like much of an explanation. I'd love to see how you flip a 700whp skyline going 20kph. Scratch that, I'd like to see how you drive a 700whp skyline 20kph!
