Whoa..sick. Love the bird on the spare...looks like a kookaburra or something random!
Looks nice and tidy, was it a long hunt? I see you got a sunroof and some decently low kms...I'm thinking it may have taken a while to find?

I was actually looking at Hilux's for 3-4 months, got outbid on three, then seen one of these on Beforward while cruising through the Mitsubishi category. I searched them at auctions and this one was going through in two days, I asked Mark what he thought of it and he thought it would be worth bidding on, so I threw a lowerish bid out there which was lower than I was bidding on Hilux's and got it!

    Then started researching them haha.

Sweet! I have long wanted a Pajero, as they can be loaded with tons of bells and whistles and are way more affordable than any other Nissan/Toyota 4x4. I have had two Pajero iOs and love the fit and finish of Mitsubishi's, but you know all about that. Also the GDI engines are really cool (for their age) so I am sure the V6 is a nice engine to drive as well. Excellent find and nice choice!

Here is what one of the pistons look like, and a bit about the GDI engine.

What a funny looking piston. I had never seen one before!

That was a good read, I actually was reading Mitsubishi's press release before also

Welcome to the Pajero club! I'm sure that'll be perfect for those long Alberta winters.

It is a little rough around the edges but I am pretty happy with it! It will be hunting and winter driving it.

You should probably drop that tire cover off this direction...

Thanks! Got the car through Mark, used Al Thompson for customs, shipping is being done via Edmonton Towing. I wanted to fly and get it, but the whole unknown car thing was a little iffy.. then when I seen the price of plane tickets it was a no brainer to just ship it.

Definitely we should have a mini meet!

New fluids and filters and blah blah.

Pretty good shape, it was so dirty when I got it I didn't really know.

Cool tool kit in the back door
    [IMG]
Cool flash light in the back

Previous owner left all the inspections, and some touch up paint in the glove box. Air filter, all the fluids look fresh. I think it was cared for, which is good.

    Ash trays for everyone!

A place for all my cassettes!

I picked it up late wednesday night and them left friday morning for a wedding in BC, so I haven't gotten to drive it much. Hopefully sometime this week I can get the OOP done and good get to drive it around some more.

Looks like a good buy. It's always fun to start sleuthing through a new vehicle when it arrives. Especially if you aren't 100% familiar and you find features and compartments you weren't aware of previously :)
