thunderstorm blowing in late last night.
That's a great pic wolf!
thanks! it cost me...in mosquito bites. hahaha
A couple of the sunset pictures (of the many) I took while on holidays a couple weeks ago:
Nice sunset pics
I made a try at moon pics, but I don't know enough about photography to adjust on the fly. The settings I had researched to use didn't work because of the smoke in the air. Did what I could and here's one I got.
I really wanted to get some of it coming up over the mountain. Not bad, but could definitely be better. More practice
Looks pretty good to me. I found Google was awesome to get a baseline of settings, and then tweak them as I needed it. God I love digital vs film.
On the side, my wife took this.

This reminds me of Dr. Wily's castle.
Nice macro shot! I like macro shots in general.
Pretty happy with this one, from the Comox Air Show yesterday.

What's with the black around the plane? Exhaust or it was just before it exploded?
Close. Pilot was toying with the speed of sound, and it creates a vapor cone.
Love that photo Greg.
I wish I had half the skill you guys had....that thunderstorm pic is gorgeous, and that CF-18 pic is awesome! Love the WWII-style paint scheme they are running on the airshow circuit with it this year!
Here's my "random" picture...nothing amazing or awesome about it, just some "WTF":
For reference, the red Tuscon in the background in the mirror, he car behind it, and my car are all parked up against the curb....the white Taurus was "parked" behind my car, nobody in it.....
Half the skill, or the joys of a DSLR and playing with the settings. I took 500+ shots at the air show, and I deleted a lot...I also do love the paint on it. For the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

I love the wildlife shots Greg. I need to get a bigger zoom and try some of that.
I went hiking in the wilderness for 4 days. We were going to stay 5 but we got snowed out and called it quits. Tarp shelters aren't ideal for 6"+ of snow, haha.
