Hi , I moved over from Australia on a 2 year working holiday visa and wanted a cheapish but awesome ride to get me up and down the snow mountains here in BC, I have owned 02, 06, 11 wrx's in Australia before moving here but never a legacy.

I Imported a 99 auto through Will from JDM Connection with 88km on the clock. with no mods other than RSR2000 springs and clear side indicators.

Since getting the car i have:

    - Changed fluids
    - Falken Euro Winters HS449.
    - Noticed the all my speakers where blown, replaced them with some Kicker KS60's.
    - Yatour Ipod / Aux adapter for the Mcintosh HU
    - Unisa Jecs Knock sensor for Cel 22 (#:22060-AA070)
    - Apexi Panel Air Filter (#503-N101)
    - Prova Cabin Filter (#90120SP0000)
    - NGK Spark Plugs (#PFR6G)
    - Sti Genome Diff Back Exhaust
    - Zerosports Sequential Controller
    - Autobarn 88 TMIC Hoses
    - Mines Stage 1 ECU
    - Terzo Roof Racks EF25 + EB1
    - Terzo Gullwing Snowboard Rack ES152
    - Inno INA260 Fairing

So far I am loving the car and have no complaints about the Auto or the TT Vod.

I will post some pics soon.

Welcome to both the forum and the country of course. Whereabouts did you decide to settle in BC?

Welcome, I'm looking forward to seeing some pictures!

I'm intrigued by the Mines ECU that you have coming over! Any idea if it would require even higher octane fuel to be used? Which site did you find it on?

Yeah, that's why I've stayed away from them. They have some nice features, but I'd be concerned about them being more highly tuned and not really a good idea for our fuel over here. I know some people have run them on Aristo's with out issue, but Aristo owners don't seem to stick around the forums too long, so I don't know if they last in the long term.

I will go to a local Vancouver dyno (any recommendations?) and do a before and after to check for knock, boost and afr's. I have a friend in Japan that gets the parts for me VanMike.

Im using Chevron 94 no ethanol, hopefully the ecu plays nice.

Maybe we should post a thread of places that have dynos. I know dah_hunter has recommended a place for tuning (I don't remember the name....Speed Syndicate?), so I would assume they have a dyno. Otherwise RG has one and so does ForceFed.

Would you not need an AWD dyno to do a Subaru?

For best price you'll need to find a "dyno day." I think it's usually closer to $100, but I could be wrong.

yep, pretty high tech for a 99 car. The screen is for navigation, climate control and TV tuner.

I fitted these new intercooler hoses, can feel more low end torque.

Also installed the ZS Controller. havent driven with it enough yet to know how good it is.

Also figured out what roof racks you need for the direct rail legacy, it is Terzo EF25 + EB1. I have a set on the way from Japan.
I also purchased the Snowboard Rack Terzo ES152.

Cost me $100 for the racks and $90 for the snowboard holder.

This is not my car, I will put up pictures of mine once they arrive.
