Replaced my speedy with another one! The electrical issues in the 05-07 years irritated me enough to sell the old generation.
This one is a one owner, low km (5000) bike that has the right accessories:
Arrow high pipe exhaust & midpipe, gel seat, bar end mirrors, black anodized brake reservoirs, and a fly screen.

All it needs are new tires - only because the "tires" installed are a poor choice for the rain or anything other than a hot day on clean pavement.

    Plans:
    - fender eliminator
    - heated grips
    - rear seat luggage/bag
    - lots of black powder coating (long term, probably next winter)

    Installed a few things:
    frame sliders
    fender eliminator
    heated grips
    rear seat bag

Then did a road trip to Nelson, BC and back. Almost 2000km in 2 days, only time for 1 pic; too busy scrubbing the Michelin Man off the chicken strips.

    Winter work.
    Installed new levers.

Needed a 38mm castle nut tool to remove the top clamp. Too cheap so I used a grinder on a 38mm socket.

Lots of powder coat, almost nothing shiny left (sans exhaust). I wanted to cermaic coat the exhaust too but I kinda needed the header to stabilize the bike on the stands.
Rear sets, all pegs, yoke, triple tree bars, risers, heat shield, yada yada.

I should paint that rear wheel washer... Probably next year when I do the exhaust.

Then I did an airbox mod (remove restrictive screen behind filter) and uploaded a new tuneECU tune. So much torque!

Annual bike trip to twisty isolated roads. I swapped bikes for a few miles last year with a (now former) gsxr rider. The contagion was passed onto the host:

Some wheelies and knee drags resulted (closed course)
