My oldest sets:
Yup, that's the one. I think I have that #442 you posted up too. It seem like I remember playing with something like that when I was a kid. I wouldn't be surprised if the pieces are all mixed in with the bulk stuff I have though.
At Christmas when I'm back at my parents' house I'm going to have to go through all the Lego there and compile a list of the sets I have.
nice.. do it.. mabe we can trade stuff.. cause there are some 90's sets i would love to have that are hard to find..
I had the 1978 truck one, it was one of my first sets. I also had the space one, I remember buying that one with my own money, down at Kmart, by my house. I had to be 7 or 8 I can't believe it's 1979 though, thought it was more mid 80's!
Edit, just checked Brickipedia, and it says it was only sold in the states. Maybe I picked it up when we visited North Dakota, or else Montanna when I was little?
I recently made my first Lego purchase in a VERY long time. I'm excited!
build pics yet?? haha. That looks awesome! I think they were bringing this stuff out when I was getting ready to get outta lego.. pretty cool designs I'd always thought. When you scale up, you can use pieces quite differently. case in point, the mirrors.
I got on youtube for too long the other night watching these. Here's 442 that Ben posted above..
I was checking out all the "command" ship ones..
ryan where did you that jeep?
pretty cool i never had any of that model team stuff.
soooo, tell me these are fake.. mmmkay?
There's not a lot of it. I got it off ebay, but it's just the parts and the instructions, no box. There was the one on there with the truck, trailer and plane (5591) a couple of weeks ago for about $100....I wish I bought it. So cool.
This time I got it with the original box, instructions and the plastic bit in the box to sort out the pieces. Downside, some of the white pieces have yellowed a bit. I'll see if I can work some magic on those. I did some research before I bought and I got it dirt cheap, so even if I can't fix the discoloration I still have a complete set with box etc.
All the parts on that set are super common, if you need any pieces just let me know..
I gots lots of spare stuff.. and its all sorted so easy to find things..
Here is the parts list for it.
just send me the part numbers that you need that are yellowed and i will look to see what i got thats not yellow
I need one black 1x2 brick with a hole in the center for the jeep I bought. I can only find lots of 10 on E-Bay. Don't really want to buy that many if I don't have to....
Ooh, I'm certain I've got one. I could put it in with the DVDs. Can you post a link though?
I think this should make it clear
So this Part: 3700
Funny story i have a ton in a lot of colors but not black right now..
Or else i totaly would have hooked you up.
This seller has some good stuff right now:
Oh man ya some good stuff..

Agreed. I don't think it's going to get too much better for a while though Good thing I bought some stuff before when the rate was better
