All papers done today. Will pick up on Friday! So far it is pretty bumpless process :)

Update: Picked it up on Friday indeed! Battery was dead, gave a juice from little Pajero.
    Put new Michelin in COSTCO.

Is it your first import/what are you getting this time from Japan? If so, I know that anticipation feeling! It is great!

SLK230 (7).jpg Just got my Car on Friday. Was a piece of cake except for the part where I couldn't find customs in Halifax. It moved to the old RCMP station but all the info online if wrong including the disconnected phone number. Day started at 4am when I left Saint John, NB. I got back at 7pm. I made it to the port for pickup with 20 mins to spare before the dock closed (12 noon). I needed a boost (common, expect that) and made it 10 ft before I ran out of gas. expect that too. It was stressful but totally rewarding in the end. I used Brave Auto in Japan for exporting the Mark is amazing, smart, responds to emails, lots of pictures, and tons on knowledge buying from auctions.
