Looking clean. I think I actually like the steelies more than the stock rims.

Yeah! I kinda like the look of the black and white. Maybe it's something to keep in mine when I switch back to the summers...

100,000km maintenance time. New belts, water pump, spark plugs, rad was starting to crack, so a new one there, new hoses. Gonna run like a top!

Are you taking on that work yourself Greg?

What did you use to clean up the headlights?

I used a man. I took it to a shop and they did it for me...Yes I know I could have done it myself, but I didn't.

Naw, not bad. I use Ryo at JDMParts. They shipped them on the 10/11th and I picked them up on the 14th.

I figured I should update this, since it didn't go exactly as planned. We ended up needing more parts, so waiting on those from Japan. Amazed with it all apart, it looks like the PO never did an oil change...ever. I know when I got it, it was black, but wow...

    Full list of parts...
    Radiator
    Radiator Upper Hose
    Radiator Lower Hose
    Spark Plugs
    Intake Manifold Gasket
    Valve Cover Gasket
    Water Pump
    Timing Belt
    AC Belt
    Cam Bearing Gasket
    Cylinder Head O-Rings
    Cam Oil Seals
    Crank Oil Seal
    Fuel Pump O-Ring
    Injector Rings
    Injector O-Ring
    Injector Ring #2
    Throttle Body Gasket

This should finish it up nicely. I look forward to getting her back, and not drive my parents Mazda Protege...

sweet jebus. G next time you buy a car just get all the parts and assemble it here :D

Are you talking about mustang connection in Armstrong? Did they ship straight to the island, or did you drive up to pick them up?

This is looks like expensive repairs.
I understand about gaskets and o-rings because it is mainly rubber which deteriorates with time but radiator?

It should last at least 200K kms, is it common issue with Mitsu? I remember you had some issues with Legnum radiator as well...

Radiator had a crack coming in it, as did the Legnum.

Did everything ship at the same time? Did you shipped it that way to get it sooner? Seems like it would be more than "free" Japan to Armstrong and then Greyhound Armstrong to Duncan.

I had the first batch shipped, then as everything got apart, we discovered we needed more gaskets, o-rings, etc...so I had to get a second shipment. Such is life. And yeah, it's just easier to have it shipped direct to my house. Saves me paying for shipping twice, having to wait longer, etc...
