I’ve owned and maintained this truck since October 2016, before that it was owned by a diesel mechanic. I work in diesel parts, so I've been able to maintain it to a high standard. I’ve taken great care of this truck and it has been solid. Though I haven’t wheeled it super hard, it has been on many camping trips, even out to Vancouver Island without skipping a beat. It will get you anywhere, if slowly. The 2.4 engine generally gets a bad rep by people who drive them hard and overheat them. When the right modifications are completed, as done on my truck, it turns into a reliable powerplant. With the large radiator and correct thermostat, this truck runs very cool, I’ve never seen it get hot. Gets great fuel economy (550+ km’s to 60L). I built a simple wooden platform in the back for storage, and converts into a sleeping platform for you to roll out a mattress and sleep comfortably inside.

Could use a new windshield, and I was planning on refurbishing the injectors for peace of mind, but it runs great. A/C Was deleted long ago. Driver’s seat has some wear. One mirror has a crack. It has minor dents, scrapes, rockchips from being nearly 30 years old, but it is a solid platform for wheeling, camping, etc.

This truck is ready to go. I had plans for future upgrades (lift, locker, intercooler, etc) but as it sits, turn the key and go.

Mileage will increase as I drive it daily. Less than 1,500km on fresh oil change

Cash is preferred, however I will entertain trades for a Forester in decent shape.
