Just spray bombing it? My GC8 is gonna get that treatment this summer... The whole roof. (Maybe I'm biting off more than I can chew....)

Yeah, just going to get a rattle can of the same paint from walkers and then throw some clear over it. Whatever I do will look better than what shape it's in now.

Rear end started to make donkey noises. Picked up some amsoil syntehtic atf. Hopefully I can get at that fill bolt somewhat easily.

Shouldn't be too bad if you can get a ratchet on it. Just make sure you don't strip the bolt.
Something like this could go a long way on a job like this, although I'm assuming you know that bit.

And a good pic and write up to help too.

Yeah. That picture came in handy, I haven't picked up a transfer pump yet, every place was closed on Monday when I got my oil.
We were in overflow. No trees there, but no other people either haha.
Is it a RS diff? I might take you up on the offer if I don't sell it. Although the donkey noise is almost always solved with a couple flushes from what I have read.
Gotta do what a guy has to do :/

Where were you camping? I was in your province in Cypress Hills camping on the weekend. Nice park.

Kept it close that weekend and was just at Blackstrap (30km or so out of Saskatoon). I haven't been to cypress hills before, I hear it's nice.

Going to be at Lucien this weekend. Been there once before, it's pretty nice. About a 1 hr 45 minute drive. Not taking the evo though, it's out of commission. Waiting for a rear diff pinion oil seal, it started leaking the other day.

Hey Braden, I saw on Meka's FB group you were looking for an IC kit?
The LS Spec Greddy is on sale for $311 on Nengun, if so. Of course you might have sold the car by the time it arrives (and the car after that!).

That's the same kit I just put in. Comes with lower pipes only. Afaik, I think he's looking for upper kit.

On todays list: Rear diff pinion seal, driver side cv seal, front outer tie rod ends, ayc clutch pack fluid, and an alignment. Anyone else think I should raise the suspension to sit like this all the time? :p

Donkey noises from AYC are gone.

And car feels and drives 10x better. Very happy.

So we had the shop closed for Friday, 4 day weekend. Might as well do something productive.
Finally got around to painting the brembos. I have decals but I have to wait a few days for the paint to cure. Much better than those pink looking things seemingly every evo from 5-9 are plagued with.

Looks good! Did you take them off the car to paint them?

I need to do the same thing on my 4 pots. They were painted red at some point, but look terrible now.

I just unbolted them and re-bolted in a way that gave me room to paint them. Didn't want to be removing them because I hate bleeding brakes.
