I feel like a got hosed when I first send money to Japan in 2012.

    What/who do you use now?

    I'm considering:
    -paypal
    -transferwise
    -OFX
-Ken Fukami (read in one of 'hunters posts)

I use Ken at Payline. I'm always surprised by the rate. I think it's usually something like 1-1.5% different from the spot rate which is damn good if you ask me. If your transfer is less than $5,000 CAD (I think), there is a $10 transfer fee).

Super easy. Email Ken that you need to send X amount of money to Brave, Pacific, Etc. He will send you some paperwork for you to fill out with your bank info and such, he tells you the rate you get and done. At least that is how it works with Brave, as he knows all of Marks payment info. Like Ryan said, small fee (I thought is was $20) and rates are extremely reasonable. Pro tip if you use the RBC non cash currency converter that is as close of a estimate of what you will have to pay.

Confirmed. I always use Ken. Fast and competitive service. Very good guy. I met him on Pajero forum a long time ago. He is a vivid JDM user.
