Audi A2s are legal for importation this November!

    It's not the prettiest model they've ever manufactured, but I have to admit (being a "smaller is ALWAYS better") that I would love to have one! The diesel would be fun to source parts for, but it got astounding mileage: 3 l/100km. That's about the same that my old Smart car got.

    Anyone want to be the first to have one on this continent? Anyone?

    I have never seen one in Japan at auctions or on the street. If you wanted to import one, getting one right from Europe might be the best idea. I bet they are cheap, not many people took a liking to them. I can see why. They are pretty terrible looking, but for some reason, I like them. I would give one 6 months if it fell in my lap. People would be pretty surprised to see it.

    I think this would FINALLY be a car my wife would drive. For some inexplicable reason, she fails to understand nor appreciate my passion for oddball Japanese cars. An oddball German car might just pull her surreptitiously into the fold of import joy... :)
