Yep, errors 14 and 15, both related with ignition
Im thinking about getting these now.. Reasonable price for a whole set:
No evidence of flood damage.. i have had the whole interior out of it.
overall its very clean. im just wondering if the ECU deptects bad coils might it not sent a ignition signal to that potential cylinder.
Just kinda grasping at thoughts here..
Dont have an oscilloscope thats for sure..
Diagnostic scanner should show specific cylinder but self-diagnostic combines 1+4 and 2+3, so could be any combination of cylinders.
Below is scan from the Russian Altezza book. First column is Error Code, second description, third reason
For example it shows P1301/14 for first cylinder, scanner will show error P1301 in case of first cylinder error and self-diagnostic 14. As you can see that scanner errors are all different while self-diagnostic combined.

So after all this..
The issue ended up being the Ground cable on the Pigtails that attach to the coils..
1 was completely broken, and the other was such a way that it might get contact some times..
So i resoldered those, sanded the grounding point, and reattached and BAM. she is alive..
So no coil issue at all..
now back to the window issue.. but at least shes back on the road,.
Anyone pick up those aliexpress coils to see if they are the real deal?
I wouldn't trust that AliExpress coils. Go with OEM, they will last forever for you.
Well obviously not forever if you need to replace a bad OEM one I thought OEM were discontinued, can you still buy them new?
I've got OEM for another forum member couple years ago. This thread has part # on the first page.
Well that's a relief. I don't actually need them yet but that's a pretty important part to not be able to get.
