    Add subforums for specific models to simplify navigation and search, i.e.:
    Toyota->
    General
    Aristo
    Mark II/Chaser/Cresta
    Surf/Hilux/Land Cruiser

    etc

    I think that we should add the subforums upon request so that we don't have empty forums. Perhaps we can use this thread as a request forum for the sub forums you want.

    I agree. I don't think we have quite enough traffic yet to have a subforum for every car.

    I think we had a different idea in the beginning, well, actually me! I thought it was kinda silly how we had things organized in the other forum, and suggested a lighter version for car info...s. I think Ben just used my rough outline, to get things up. I was thinking we could have a couple categories in each.max, just to keep the info more streamlined. The other forum had so many sections, and then they would be empty, so they got useless threads like "gas mileage" what kind pf gas mileage does the honda S-mx get? And the reality is that for a lot of cars, there won't be many wanting to discuss them in great detail. For the cars that do get a lot of traffic, they would dominate the makers forum. IE Skyline, or Wrx.

    Ultimately our concern is to make this as good as we can, and try to right a few wrongs along the way!

    I asked about this because I would like to post some technical info: specs, DYI etc. I thought it will be easier to navigate/find information if it will be grouped by models.
    It may be good for Subaru because 90% of them are Impreza, all of them have similar engine etc.
    But Toyota has 10 times more models, different engines etc. And, as you know, I like Toyota :).

    One thing with that might help also, is if you just sticky a thread under Subaru for DIY's, then list out the type of DIY, and what model its for, then link to the post in that section. So for example:

    #### The Subaru DIY Thread ####
    --Engine
    -> Impreza blinker fluid replacement

    In the end, it sort of depends on how you guys feel like things need to be grouped.

    Type of thing(DIY) -> car make -> car model -> ect...

    Car make -> type of thing(DIY) -> car model -> ect..

    Right now we're doing the latter.

    Also, it never hurts to use the search function either for finding stuff instead of drilling down layers ! ;)

    Sorry but I went ahead and made a GTR a GTT and non turbo section in Nissan
    I figure this way ppl are putting things in the right section
    Instead of one "skyline" thread which would be full pretty quickly

    Terrell, can you add a Ford Europe section please?
    We are missing one very knowledgable exporter, and this might draw him in haha.
