I'd like to say here's my pride and joy, but really she's my workhorse! 1994 Toyota Land Cruiser with full factory lockers. Really, it's got too many extras to list, but I'll try however, I'm going to leave out the factory stuff.

    • Aluminum roof rack
Robotic spot light for the roof rack
Some odd bug deflector that everyone asks me about
Bull bar on the front (took the headlight extensions off)
      Bosch fog lights
      About 4" lift
      Bradley Engineering 4x4 wheels
      33" BFG TA/KO tires[/*]

    Engine mods:
    • Something referred to as the "Power Rod Mod"
      Boost increased to 17-18 psi
      3" exhaust
      BSH catch can[/*]

There might be more stuff....I'm too tired to think at the moment.

Here's some old pics. I have some pics from all the way back to last summer that I've been meaning to share. I got to drive A LOT last summer and I got some pics along the way. Here's the old stuff:

LOL...Like I said, even I was surprised when I first picked it up. However, aside from clearance issues, I've never had any issues maneuvering it around town or anything. I think it's just the lift, bigger tires and roof rack that make it seem bigger than it actually is.

Here's pics from my trips to Hinton and back last year (April, August and October).

    April

I'll start with my favorite photo. I just wish I took it with a proper camera rather than my phone.

    August

    It started shiny...

But then this while I was on the back roads....

    Another photo I like :)

    I thought this was a little excessive....I know it's big but...:D

I don't know how you guys live in Alberta. I had about half an inch of ice built up on my springs.

I love the Cruisers no matter what chassis. I love all the different terrains you got in there. These pictures are well worth a congratulations.

Thanks guys! I really do love this Land Cruiser. If I had to have only one vehicle I think this would have to be it. It's definitely not fast, but it's super reliable and it suits my lifestyle better than any other vehicle out there for both work and play.

I took the roof rack off tonight. I usually take it off once a year so I can get the roof properly cleaned and waxed. Every time I take it off it feels like the magic of the truck is gone...LOL! It just doesn't have the same presence.

Not sure how I missed this the first time around, but yeah... Quite the truck. Do you remember how stunned I was when I saw it? I had so many questions for you, lol, including the bug deflector. Haha. Nicest lc I have ever seen, by a wide margin.

    Great pics too, Ryan!

I finally got around to completing the work on the roof since I had the roof rack off last night. I think it was about 2.5 hours of work and all I did was the roof.

    - Wash
    - Dry
    - Claybar
    - Light cut polish and buff
    - Wax and buff
    - Drink a beer :)

I'm really happy with the results. I just wish it didn't take so long.

Among a few other things she's recently received a new rad, undercoating and new steering stabilizer. The shop was nice enough to pressure wash the engine bay too which made me happy since it was getting filthy! :)

    Looks like a mirror! :)

What kind of undercoating did you get? Krown? I've never done undercoating for my cars, is it worth it?

ATEB always does any work I need done on my truck. I've also taken the Alpina and the Aristo to them for work as well. They can work on anything, but they market themselves as Land Cruiser and diesel specialists. I've always been happy with the service and work they've provided :)

No, roof rack will go back on soon. It's just so much more badass :D I just have to decide if I'm going to clean it up a bit before it goes on. I think I'll end up just giving it a wash with a scrub brush and call it good.

I can't remember exactly what they used. ATEB did this work for me as well. They had to have the truck for a few weeks to pressure wash it and then make sure it's dry before they spray it. I don't know if it was worth it yet. All I know is I was getting a lot of surface rust on the underside from that brine shit they spray on the roads now. I did a lot of winter driving last year (salted roads) and it was starting to show.

I have never used ATEB for anything.. i always use CVI.. if i need any diesel work.

however they are closer then CVI, i might have to give them a try when my Challenger comes in.

I'd give CVI a try if I was closer to them. I've heard good things about EBI Cruisers in Port Coquitlam too, but as mentioned I've always been happy with ATEB and they are super convenient since they aren't too far from a skytrain station as well as where I live :).

They do inspections as well and it's cheap, but I think they are a little more by the book. I had them look at a WRX a few years back and everything was good, but they wouldn't pass it because they said the fender height wasn't high enough. They said the requirement is 27" from the ground to the top of the fender or something like that.

Did you buy the white one Mark had in stock? I considered buying it.

Such a nice cruiser. I would love to do one of these up, and take a trip down the west coast, Alaska to Mexico, & Camp the whole way. Toyota reliability!
